The Alcatel One Touch 756 is a shiny silver candybar shaped phone that tapers in slightly towards the bottom, with a large screen dominating the front and a plastic, moulded keypad below that.
Overall, the Alcatel 756 fits quite snugly into the palm of your hand. The build quality is good and solid, and it feels sturdy enought to suggest it could take a few knocks without any serious damage.
The onboard camera boasts a maximum resolution of VGA quality for still images (that's 640 x 480 pixels) but it has a number of another image sizes to cater for different uses. Another neat feature of the Alcatel One Touch 756 is that you can assign your own shortcuts from scratch to make it easier to access the items you use most often. You get 20 spaces and can fill them with fuctions such as creating a mesage or accessing the camera, phone numbers of URLs to use with the WAP browser as you please.
Navigation was easy enough and the large keys are a real help in theis respect but it could be faster and the time lags when going from one menu to another - annoying if you're used to something quicker.
Ultimately, whether you buy this mobile phone depends on how you view extra features like built-in cameras. If you want them at a good price, then the Alcatel One Touch 756 is an OK buy and a very reasonable price.
